Beyond the Screen: Strategy Lab
Grades 4-6 9:00-11:30 AM
Does your child love Minecraft, LEGO® building, puzzles, strategy games, or visual problem solving? Many highly capable learners with strong visual-spatial thinking thrive when given opportunities to create, analyze patterns, think flexibly, and solve complex challenges away from screens and traditional worksheets.
This session uses strategic gameplay and collaborative problem-solving activities to strengthen logical reasoning, spatial thinking, creativity, and intellectual resilience in a dynamic small-group environment. Through tournament-style games, guided discussion, and hands-on challenges, learners build confidence, sportsmanship, and meaningful peer connection while engaging with other curious and complex thinkers.
Scientific Thinking Strategy Lab
Grades 2-4 12:30-3:00 PM
For younger advanced learners, big thinking starts with play. In this lab, curious kids dive into puzzles, visual challenges, and strategy games that feel like fun first—but secretly build powerful analytical thinking skills.
While playing games, students experiment, test ideas, and tweak their strategies just like real scientists. Through fast-paced games and team challenges, they sharpen visual-spatial reasoning, flexible thinking, pattern recognition, and early strategic problem-solving. All of this happens in a warm, small-group setting where kids can laugh, take risks, and connect with peers who love a good brain challenge as much as they do.
